The School, in its present form, is a joint venture of the DAV College Managing Committee and the Coal India Limited (CIL). The erstwhile Shishu Vihar was handed over to the committee in 1990, and getting the matchless managing capability of the committee and the timely cooperation of the CIL, the Vihar has bloomed into.

I feel extremely delighted to see our students have once again shown their creative spirit and contributed wholeheartedly. I am sure with the introduction of NEP 2020 students will get more opportunities to bring out their creativity and innate talent. We understand that our students have unbound potentiality; we have just to surface it and give it a proper direction.
